Sucker Punch is the debut album by Norwegian singer Sigrid. It follows two EPs titled Don’t Kill My Vibe and Raw respectively.
I am so happy I stumbled upon Sigrid’s music. I think I was browsing a related artist page on some pop singers Spotify or Google Play page and thought “I wonder if this Sigrid person is any good?” and I immediately got excited when I saw the title “Don’t Kill My Vibe” because I thought it could be a cover of Kendrick Lamar’s song “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” I was pleasantly surprised to find a solid pop song that I’m surprised never made it to the top 40 radio stations here in the States. That kinda sums up how I feel about the whole album. It sounds like it should be on the radio while also having that indie pop charm of not being on the radio. There isn’t a single song on this album I don’t love.
